I have made a final decision and feel good about it.
I love having a blog and it is great when blogger comes out with all these great new tools for us to play with. However, new isn't always better. I will not have any blog counters, visitor recognition or my own tracking. This decision is just for me and no reflection on others:) - I don't need anything else to add to my insecurities. I would become too keenly aware of the number ticking at the bottom of my blog or feeling a sense of responsibility to keep the names of blogs that I visit current in their times so as not to hurt anyone's feelings. I would feel bad if someone felt "obligated" or coerced to leave a comment because they would now know that I know that they were here. I am and have been a stalker - I will admit I don't always leave a comment. I love every blog and post I read and thanks to all you bloggers!
I remind myself of the purpose of my blog that it is for me and my family - I love to visit your families and others via blogs. Those of you that stalk my blog - it's okay - most of you that are strictly stalkers are family anyways - it's all good.

my favorite blogger app is the blog list where the list of the blogs you look at are updated by newest first, so all I have to do is look at my blog, then I can see "oh look! Stacey updated her blog!"
I too am not for all the fancy things on blogs, not that I don't enjoy them I just don't have time to jazz mine up. I do like that your blog is simple, it loads up fast on my computer, so I can take quick peeks when I find a few minutes to 'stalk'. P.s. I had a fun time on the field trip,too Ü
