Soccer

We wrapped up our soccer season. Ashley and Emma both played on a team this Fall season. I was the assistant coach for Ashley's team for my 4th season. Coach Jody is the BEST and I hope to be as good of a coach as her some day. She does a great job teaching the girls about soccer and motivating them to do their best and work a little harder to be better.

This season we saw some girls leave to go on to the competitive league which allowed others to shine as leaders and stronger players.

Ashley is great as goalie and forwards. As goalie she was always ready to grab the ball and has a monster drop kick. She works great with her teammates in making the goals as forwards.

Emma had a good second season with her mom as coach. We loved having her friends on the team and making some new ones too. We also had a wonderful assistant coach (thanks Melissa-you're awesome). Emma listened really well and is doing great learning about space and even scored a goal! Go EMMA!
