Yesterday Ashley had slumber party to celebrate her 10th birthday (YEAH! I love every year with her more and more)! I will admit that I was opposed to it from its conception. The thought and preparations stressed me out beyond belief. I know it is my baggage do to my own bad experiences when I was about that age.I was able to get her to downsize her invite list and every time I found out a girl couldn't spend the night I did a little cheer for me.
However, I did my very best and with her help with planned activities and food, entertainment. We planned games galore. She had a great turnout and minimal girly drama or problems. All went well everyone had a good time and I am a happy mommy!

This sounds very much like Katie's slumber party when she turned 8. I was very much dreading it, but it was her favorite birthday.
Ashley is beautiful. I can't believe how long its been since I've seen you!
