For part of JT's birthday we took the family to see Prince Caspian in the theatre. Finding 7 seats all next to each other was trickier than expected on opening weekend. We bypassed the 3:30 and waited in line for the 4:20pm showing.
We enjoyed the movie but completely agreed with reviews by our favorite reviewers that it is much darker than the first. They skirted by the PG-13 rating but showing all the violence but just no bloodshed giving it the wanted and appreciated PG rating.

That's too bad. I really enjoyed these books, but the movies seem so intense for kids viewing. I hope it was a good birthday though.
