Sunday was Ashley's Activity Days Recognition Night. I helped her prepare all week before and she was SO excited about having a table that tells all about her. She called me at my hotel afterwards and told me all about it. It was wonderful! The best part was getting the rose from Sister Crook and her kind words and having all the parents walk around the different tables and talking to the girls about their tables and things that they did.
Ashley developed her talent in sewing and sewed her own horsey pillowcase - all by herself. You can see it on the front of the table. She didn't want to put in the pillow form - she said it was a good thing otherwise it would have taken up the ENTIRE table.
The leaders did a wonderful job and I have to say that I am so thankful for all their hard work. I know that Ashley just beamed for days afterwards!

Thank you so much for posting this! Julie and I both were so happily surprised at hearing about the girls' excitement! Ashley did a great job and I LOVED her table! Such a great girl! We sure love her! Great job Ashley!
Impressive. I can't even sew a thing, so to hear she sewed a pillow is very impressive. Way to go Ashley!
I can't believe how fast it has gone. I think the last time I saw Ashley she was a toddler! Time to come see you guys.
