This is how I know it is Spring here. I love when the Palo Verde trees blossom my neighborhood, at least, comes alive in beautiful yellow. That alone is a wonderful blessing but wait...those flowers just give and give. When the flowers drop to the ground they form wonderful piles of crunchy yellow flowers. Perfect for riding over with anything with wheels. It makes that perfect crunching sound and you just want to run over them again and again! I have decided that I think Palo Verde flower piles are WAY better than rain puddles(truly overrated in my opinion).
Watch for those piles of beautiful yellow flowers and let yourself and your kids go crunch, crunch, crunch!

I am so jealous! We still are waiting for spring here- I think its 36 degrees as a high today!!!
I love these trees too! I love driving down Key Biscayne and seeing all of them. So pretty!
I never knew what those trees were called! I sure wish it was spring here-
